Our multi-day camel safari allows guests to tailor their adventure with durations ranging from 8 days to 21 days in the Thar Desert.

During your tour, you'll explore the remote and tranquil parts of the Thar Desert, known for its varied wildlife and pristine sand dunes. Enjoy freshly prepared meals cooked over a campfire, with the chance to participate in the cooking alongside our guides. The journey also includes visits to remote villages, allowing you to fully experience the unique desert environment.

The best time for a longer safari is from September to March; the month of April to August is usually very hot in the build up to the monsoon.

ITINERARY

Your day-by-day journey through the experience

The tour departs from our office at 06:00 am, heading to our campsite located approximately 50 km outside Jaisalmer.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your camel guides and camels.

Every day, you'll embark on a morning camel ride lasting about 3 hours, followed by a break for lunch. After lunch, you'll enjoy a 2-hour camel ride.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of the desert with unforgettable sunsets and sunrises each day.

Throughout the tour, you will explore the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife of the Thar Desert, including its pristine sand dunes.

You'll also have the option to visit remote villages, adding a cultural dimension to your adventure.

Each night, you’ll sleep on the dunes under the starry sky, resting on clean and comfortable bedrolls.
